Locally host web site with domain name

Hello all,

I have a domain registered with GoDaddy and GoDaddy hosted email. How would I go about setting up a dynamic dns redirecting http://www.somedomain.com to the Synology DS211j, while leaving the email intact? At the moment, http://www.somedomain.com is pointing to a pathetic GoDaddy "build your web site" page.

Also, the ISP is Comcast. Do they still block port 80, and if so, are there workarounds?

It can be splitted! The a-record in the registration of the domain determines where the mail goes and another record determines where the internet goes. I have a domain, axj.dk, where I run a web-site on my Synology, but the mail is sent to me via another company while the ISP is a third company (with another mail-address!).

The keywords are "MX-record" for email and "A-Record" for web page.

Update a few hours later...

* Web server is working as expected at a local IP address, not working at somedomain.no-ip.biz
* Enabled DDNS via no-ip.com (DSM v3.1)

* Can log into the account at no-ip.com, looks normal; maybe it hasn't propagated yet?

* DSM firewall is able to change router settings
* Router port 80 is open (confirmed with grc shields up)

* Port 80 is redirected to the DS211j's static ip at router

* When trying to reach somedomain.no-ip.biz on a browser, browser says "unable to connect"
