Sickbeard not creating Season folders

Postby shaunvis » Fri Jul 27, 2012 3:19 am

I'm using the apps from synocommunity & set them up with nzb config.

Sickbeard grabs the shows, sends them to sabnzb, then moves them to the parent folder of the TV show. It is not however creating season folders despite being set to do so in sickbeard config.

Is there something I missed or can someone point me in the right direction?

Did you either install nzbconfig (to create post processing settings between sab & sb) or configured the post processing options in sb manually ?

Did you also check the box to use season folders ?

Does this happen only to new shows or even with existing ones ?

1) I used nzbconfig.

2) Would this checkbox be in sb or sab? I don't see a box in sb, but do have "season folder format: Season %0d"

3) New and existing. Even existing shows that already have season folders, it just puts the new episodes in the root folder, not the season folder

1) Good :)

2) In SB if I remember correcty, in front of the setting you mention, I think I saw a checkbox

3) This could be the issue we raised on sickbeard, the indexing command to add folder is currently wrong

Ah, indexing seems to be another issue I just noticed. The new shows I download do not appear on my BD player until I run a re-index in media center. But I think that may be more of a 4.1 beta issue than sb.

Also, no checkbox for the season folders. Just the box to specify formatting.

Still, I can't really complain if all I have to do is move episodes into season folders. Still beats the hell out of doing everything manually like I did before my Syno. :D

Well, you can manually launch the indexing with the command (to un in ssh/telnet)

synoindex -A /path/to/folder

Thanks for the tip. Is there any way to schedule a task like that? Or make the equivalent of a .bat that I can put on the "desktop" and run by clicking on it to re-index?

If you are familiar with Unix, you can just create a cron task
