Re: SynoCommunity is glad to announce its new repo

Transmission 2.50 has been banned from a tracker I use due to a privacy bug. Any chance we can get this package updated to 2.52?

Thanks!

So, I updated all the packages this morning and now SABnzbd, CouchPotato, and SickBeard will not start. Headphones is working fine. I have changed all the default ports, but all were working before the update this morning. Any ideas what I could possibly change to get these working again?

Please use default ports ...

If you want to change those, you should be able to fix those

Problem here too. Had to force a reboot after all the updates, as my NAS froze. I actually had to pull the power as it did not respond at all.

Now it's booted again and Couchpotato Server, Sickbeard and Headphones don't boot anymore. Can not start them manually. Get the message "Could not execute package service" (translated it from Dutch).

So, I thought I give it a new try and install them all over, but the package center does not load any packages from SynoCommunity anymore. I tried to re-add it to the package center, but it says the url "http://packages.synocommunity.com/" is invalid. Can not access it anymore with the browser too.

P.s. I use all default package ports

Ok, so I changed SABnzbd back to the default 8080 port by changing:

/var/packages/sabnzbd/INFO and
/usr/local/sabnzbd/var/config.ini

I tried to change /usr/local/sabnzbd/app/sabnzbd.cgi but there was not a port listed.

Rebooted DSM and SABnzbd still will not start. "failed to run the package service." Any other advice?

Repo is currently down, and I don't know why yet, I'm checking with the admin

No, I did not. I saw a post here, that I had to wait. :-) I use the Python package from SynoCommunity. NZB Config, SABNZB, Transmission all run. No problem with those packages.

Think that will be something I have to do too right? :-) Is there a simple way to make a backup of the config files? Don't know how to do that.

Maybe it would be nice to have an option NZB Config to backup and restore config files of the package settings for if you have to re-install a package.

@Smiggel : Did you launch all the update at once ?

Or launched one, then wait the end, launch 2nd ... ?

Not sure if you will need to delete/reinstall, since you might be able to juste "update" the packages again

There is a post in previous page about all the settings import/export
