How did you make the copy ?

The script is "auto loaded" during installation, did you install BOTH sabnzbd AND sickbeard from our repo ?

Sorry I would have preferred to edit this post but it had to be approved. Everything worked 100% once I switched the scripts folder to /usr/local/sickbeard/share/SickBeard/autoProcessTV .

Hmmm ok. Strange. I run it on 5050 as well. I have set the portforwarding for couchpotato, but I can not access from outside. I have no problem with Sickbeard and Sabnzb, etc. Guess I have to look in to it then, why it is not working.

Seems like couchpotato is not responding. When I try to access it, I see my browser loading and loading, but nothing is coming. As soon as I remove the portforwarding from my modem/router I get an error right away.

Port forwarding seems to work I guess, but CouchPotato does not respond. It only works locally of when I make a VPN connetion to my NAS. Does not work through my DsMyNas.org DDNS. :-(

Did not have this problem with V1 of CP. I had it running on 8083 and later on 8200.

Do you have a username/password setup for CoachPotatoServer?

@smiggel

I'm not using couchpotato, but here is a little guess :

It might not be listening to "0.0.0.0:5050" but, for instance "yourip:5050". Check in couchpotato settings, if you see anything like this

It's set to 0.0.0.0 and the port is set to 5050. Those are default values.

If you can access CP on port 5050 from inside your network then the issue is at/with your firewall or your DDNS service.

Damn. Seems like the Synology DDNS service is blocking port 5050. I set the internal routing from 8200 outside to 5050 inside. When I access CouchPotato through port 8200 it works! :-s Pretty strange that they block that.

Thanks for pointing it out! Did not think about the problem being the DDNS. :-)

On page 10, it is said port 5050 is also used by yahoo messenger, or something like that (check out)

You might have it running on your computer

Hmmm, have to see what uses that port then. Have no Yahoo messenger or something like that. Well, I have some more information now and know now that it's not CouchPotato! :-)

the easy test is to port forward from 5050 (inside) to something like 5051 (outside).... if it works, you have a conflict with port 5050 (outside), if it does not work then either your DDNS or your ISP is blocking low ports - some ISPs block ports on non-business customers.

Don't bother looking for a conflict on a computer on your network... it cannot have any affect on usage of a port on your Synology or your firewall/ddns/etc.

I have a problem with uMurmur, I've contacted the developer and here is his response:

Hi,

From the information provided, I can't tell what's wrong. I'd need for example a gdb trace. Please report this error to the package maintainer at synocommunity and see if he can reproduce the problem and then provide enough information to find the problem.

Thanks
/Martin

Hello,

I have a problem with uMurmur just stopping every now and then; it happens a few times every month. I’m using a Synology DS211+ with the package from http://www.synocommunity.com/

I find this in the log:

Thanks

Ok, thanks for the info. Never had port forwarding problem before. It always used to work. Will have a look in the 5050 port then. :-)

Hello. I have a question.

I'm running a branch of Sickbeard. It needs python and cheetah.

What I did in the past was, install python and cheetah from ipkg. But i was having some kernel panics, so I'm trying to figure out if those python were corrupting something.

As of right now, I uninstalled every python and cheetah using ipkg remove. (Yes, I had installed like 2-3 different python at the same time, this might be the problem with those kernel panics)

I want to install the one provided from SynoCommunity source. Python 2.7.3-1, but I think I will still need to install cheetah from ipkg.

When I install Python from your repo, and run python -V in the console, it says not found. Meaning is not installed properly? Or I'm missing something.

I ask this, because I need the path to the python installation to add it to the autostart Script for the branch of Sickbeard.

Script starts with this:
#!/bin/sh
COMMAND="/opt/bin/python /volume1/@appstore/sickbeard/SickBeard.py"

- Could you point me out where is python installed to use the correct path.
- And if I still need to install cheetah from ipkg.
- Also, might be possible that multiple python installation (I had python, python25, python26, cheetah, cheetah25, I know, a mess, but I'm really new to this) were causing the kernel panics? I'm currently testing that with no python installed from ipkg.

Thanks in advance.

@Lerp :
Package name : "python"
Package folder : "/var/packages/python"
Symlink in "/usr/local/python"

No idea about the cheetah

@rewozz : The log isn't saying much :/

Thanks.

I installed python from SynoCommunity.

In the sickbeard directory, when I try to:

Code: Select all
python SickBeard.py

I get:

Code: Select all
 -ash: python: not found

That's weird, any tips?
