Hello!
There is going to be (crippled somehow unfortunately) PLEX for ARM based servers.
There is no SPK for Synology DS's yet, so you have to have knowledge how to install it on your DS.

Your thread title is misleading.
Tobias (the Plex software engineer) clearly states in that thread you linked to that there is no ETA on developing a package for Synology units that have ARM processors. All he will comit to is that he "hopes" it will be done.

Maybe a title is misleading but only a little.
Package is download ready (not spk) and if you know command line you can install it for testing.
Best news is that he is working on PLEX for ARM.

Cool - in that case I agree, it's only a bit misleading.
