WEB GUI

I did a search but couldn't find what I'm after. The web interface for my unit only shows a File Station icon and a DSM help icon. I can no longer get into the control panel or any other settings. Telnet in is fine. Is there a file location on the unit that store the websettings for a user? Or is there a way to restore the GUI to the initial default settings?

You should login as an administrator (to see all) and go to the top left corner there is the main menu "hiding".

Common users have only icons available to applications they are allowed to use.

Login as "admin" and go to DSM - Control Panel - Application Privileges to adjust the permissions.

Only thing I can think of: you created a custom user 'administrator', that does not belong to the group administrators. Try user 'admin'
