Do I unplug USB from UPS on DS212+

Hi! Okay I hooked up my DS212+ to my UPS with a USB as it stated in directions. The directions don't state if I leave the usb attached to the UPS and the DS212+...anyone know????

The UPS communicates over USB with your DS. So, if you want the DS to enter safe mode or shutdown on low battery: yes, the USB cable must be attached all the time.
