All users have root permissions using ssh

Postby sot » Wed Mar 14, 2012 11:10 am

Hi Guys,

Ive enabled ssh, added some user accounts, edited the passwd files etc. Logging in works fine.

The problem is whatever user account I log in ssh with seems to have root access, the account privileges setup through the synology user permissions and groups settings have no effect. I can access all files and directories, and edit any files with any account I log in with.

Anyone have any idea why this is the way it is?

Cheers
