Hi,
Since upgrading to DSM 4.0 on my DS212, I've found that automatic disconnect of a user after a period of inactivity is not occurring. For example, if a remote user 'bob' logs into my DS212 to grab a file, the connection continues to be shown in the list of current connections even though I have the automatic logout timer set to 10 minutes in 'Control Panel/DSM Settings'.
I can even reproduce the problem with a single user, by logging into my DS212 on my desktop PC (on the same private network), and leaving the browser there.. it never ever logs me out.
Essentially have to log in and kill old connections. The connections are not active, and - as evidence for this - my DS212 continues to hibernate as it did with DSM3.2 (ie: if the connections were active, and doing *stuff*, then the DS212 would not hibernate).
Is anyone else seeing this? I can't recall seeing this with DSM3.2, so I'm wondering if this is a regression. Does anyone have any idea how I can resolve this issue?
Kind regards,
Dean
