DS1512+ SHR questions.

Hi,

If I populated the DS1512+ with 1TB x 5 drives with SHR and then later on in the future decide to upgrade one of the drives, can I just unplug one of the 1TB drives and replace it with a larger one? Will the volume be expanded automatically?

Not if you only upgrade one drive.

Ok, I think I understand the concept.

So, in the future I would need to buy 2 larger hard drives and upgrade them one by one.
