How can I set a DS1512+ to use CURL?

Postby Rehan » Thu May 17, 2012 10:52 pm

I am about to purchase a DS1512+ and am wondering if there is a way to set it up to run a CURL command as a scheduled task every day.

I have a remote power switch in my setup which I reboot daily. Currently the way I reboot it is by having a desktop wake up out of standby early every morning and run a windows scheduled task to run a CURL command to the remote power switch.

I am hoping I can set up the DS1512+ to run this curl command automatically at a scheduled time every day so that I don't have to make my desktop wake up to do it.

Is this possible? How would I go about doing it? Thank you!

Install IPKG system and then curl package, and then create your scripts.
