DS212 or DS212+ ?

I'm on the fence trying to decide between the DS212 and the DS212+. I don't mind spending the extra money if I will notice a difference between the two, but don't want to buy horsepower I may never need. It will be used for in the home, initially for backing up our various PCs. But I would also like to use it as a web server, and be able to get to my content from the Internet. Possibly streaming to a TV. Squeezebox media server.

My thinking is that the difference in CPU speed probably won't make much difference, but the doubling of memory may be noticeable. Anybody have any opinions? Thanks.
