110j vs 112j?

Postby brazilmma » Thu Apr 26, 2012 10:59 pm

Hi all,

I just bought the 110j because that's all that was available online in the US. But the Synology website doesn't list a 110j model, only a 112j model. What's the deal? Anyone know what's going on?

Thanks!

Hi

The DS 110j is the 2010 model, and the DS 112j is the 2012 model, as it is now Synology is almost updating there DS models every year.

Ah, I see. But the 112j isn't really sold in the US yet? Is it going to be released here? Strange that the US website (or at least when it says US English at the top) only mentions the 112j, a model that you seemingly can't buy here!
