I'm trying to send messages to the Syslog Server using the preinstalled logger, but I can't get it to work.
If I run this command it does not show up in the Syslog server.

logger -p 5 "test msg via logger"
Any suggestions?

Hey all,
I'm trying to send messages to the Syslog Server using the preinstalled logger, but I can't get it to work.
If I run this command it does not show up in the Syslog server.
Any suggestions?

Had to use NetCat. Got it working now. I'll post how some day when I've got some time to spare
