Synology Support responded on Monday indicating engineering found an issue and is busy working on a patch. No date was given for delivery of such. I hope it's not to far off!

Hi All,

After working with the Synology team, they finally supplied me with a patch that works! (I went through two Beta, the final 3.2 release, and two patches before it's now working again!)

I would recommend for anyone who has this issue to raise a ticket and hopefully the beta patch works.

I opened a ticket as well and I also installed a patch.
Now I can print again on my HP LJ 1200 via DS110j.

Hi mhendel,

I don't want to post the link to the patch because the patch doesn't specify what NAS unit your using. The last thing I'd want is to link it and then you apply it and bricks your unit!

Seriously, raise a ticket and they'll point you to the patch really quickly.

The patch restored printing for a Brother's 1450 from a Mac running Lion and from a Windows 7 PC.

How many days after the ticket submission did you recieved the patch?
I have now two days and nothing happened. Or maybe because is week end!!!

My experience; Support staff usually respond in a day or so, sometimes sooner however I doubt they'll respond over the weekend.

Same thing happened to me since updating to 3.2-1922 with my ds211j and my canon ip4500 printer.

Put in a support ticket and they responded "According to our USB printer support list below, the printer you used isn't included into it so that we cannot guarantee if it can work with Synology NAS although it works with older DSM"

So basically GFY. My wife is breaking my balls over the printer not working and she is driving me crazy!!! I NEVER thought I would lose functionality updating but here I am.

Update please? PLEASE?

The patch got me printing again. Airplay doesn't work anymore though.
Does anybody else who got the patch, got this problem?

I am also unable to print on my Brother HL-1430 after upgrading to DSM 3.2 - 1922

Unbelievable, one of the reasons I bought a Synology 209 is because of the complaining wife and kids that they never where able to print without putting on the PC in my office.

What is changed. Realy frustrating fix it as fast a you can support guys, cause they are already starting to complain.
