Lion and Synology S.M.A.R.T. test

I have a Synology DS209 with two 2 TB Hitachi drives in it configured for RAID 1.

Before I updated my machine to Lion, I do not remember ever seeing any issues with the SMART test results in the Synology control panel. However, both after updating to Lion (and still using DSM3.1) and after updating to DSM 3.2b, when I go to the Storage Manager, both drives show 'Abnormal' under the SMART status. Looking further, both drives say they are failing 'Seek_Error_Rate'. I am sure that two drives could not actually fail with the same results simultaneously, so I am thinking that this is something else wrong.

Does anyone have an idea?
