Open Video from the File browser

Hello,

I am looking forward to get the video function working with this firmware.

Problem is I got the message : Browser or VLC plugin error everytime I try to load a movie.

I tried a large bunch of video file (avi, xvid, mkv, mpeg, mpeg4,..) Not working
I tried reinstalling VLC to its last edition (and I ticked the Firefox plugin) Not working
I tried Chrome Firefox, IE9 Not working

Any Idea ?

In IE9 ,did you install a ActiveX plugin?
it's in top of your browser ,check if you have installed or not

Are you rying to watch the movie over a secured connection (https)? This isn't working, as synology writes in the help...
