Synology, please allow users to be able to use Time Backup to backup to older NASes. I can't see any reason why this can't be done.
Aside from the above, I like the new features in DSM 3.2.

This sucks pretty big.
fsck! wrote:This is ridiculous that the '07' line up is being dropped from the support offerings. I realize this is an EOL line-up and that at some point there is only so much functionality or enhancements you can squeeze out of an NAS like DS-207+, however, Synology should at least maintain compatibility if the device mas marketed as APPLE/AFP compatible. I am not asking for all of the bells and whistles the latest beta firmware offers but, they could at least maintain a small footprint DSM for these older devices that, if anything, maintain compatibility. The AFP issue with Lion is a prime example.
Synology, please issue a small DSM update for your 07 series. At the very least issue an update for Netatalk that fixes us all old timers. I have enjoyed synology products for a long time and have nothing but great things to say about their customer support and lead times to get issues resolved. I can't believe that is all coming to an end now that we need you the most to keep our NAS's running with Lion!
