Network Printer Permissions

Hi All,

Currently I've a Brother MFC-7340 printer and have set it up on the synology diskstation as a usbprinter. However, I would like all on the network to be able to send their print jobs to this network printer without having to login or "authenticate" to the diskstation.

Is this possible ? If yes, how can I set this up ?

Hi Guys,

Just thought I share why the network printer didn't work unless "authentication" to the diskstation is done.

I had disabled the guest account as I wanted to prevent accidental access via the guest account but it seems that for "unauthenticated" printing to work, it required the guest account to be enabled.
