HP PSC 1400 series printer, and Win XP

Has anyone been successful in using an HP PSC 1410 printer on a USB Station 2 (latest version of DSM), for printing from Win XP?

DSM recognises the printer ok, and everything looks fine within the DSM setup, and the printer is visible via Bonjour. However, when I try to install the printer on my Win XP laptop it can't find the right driver (even after installing latest one from HP website) and using the generic HP PCL driver it installs but won't print.
