DSFILE not working over 3g (Samsung tab 10.1 - android 3.2)

Postby Pedro01 » Mon Mar 05, 2012 5:02 pm

Hello,
I have a Samsung tab 10.1 GT-P7500 (Android 3.2, firmware p7500BUKK4 and I can connect all you apps to the DS212 with no problem, except for DSfile over Mobile network data (3g).

If i connect via any wireless network its fine, but if I connect via 3g (Vodafone) it says (translated from portuguese):
"invalid User account or password. Try again".

IP block feature is desabled.

Can you help ?

Regards
pedro Gomes

Same here!!!

It is totaly Synologys fault. Previous versions of DS Audio and DS File used to work over 3G but now they don't. I have Samsung Galaxy tab 10 Android 3.2 - not working, I have Galaxy Nexus Android 4.0.2 - not working and interesting I have HTC Sensation XL - Android 2.3 working flawlesly!!!

By the way DS Photo is operational on all systems

Hi Guys,

I'm also suffering with DS Audio not working under 3G.

Could you guys please try the following:

-access DS Audio through wi-fi and add a few files to queue
-play the first music
-change to 3G mobile data press next and see if the musics play

I've managed to play a few musics.

What does this mean ? I have no idea, could be ports blocked by Mobile Operator (Optimus Portugal) I have no idea if any ip requests even arrive to Synology and don't know how to check it in linux.

Just my 5 cents.

All the best,

Sharro
