Problem with Photo Station's permission changes

Postby wei83 » Sun Apr 29, 2012 5:01 am

Hi,

I recently changed the access permissions of some albums in my Photo station, and realised that the user I revoked access from, could still see the albums not meant for him. The access permission list for the album was correctly reflected, i.e. for his account the checkbox was unchecked, but he could still see the albums.

Is this a bug in Photo station? Or do I need to reboot Diskstation to reset the cache?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

I have had the same experience with several attempts.. the permission are always overwritten with having access to all the subfolders of the choosen main folder. (I have only 2 levels of folders)

Would be great to see that fixed soon!

I still see that as well and they have after 1 year still not fixed this permissioning Problem!!!
Permissioning in Photo Station is absolutely useless due to this security risk!
