How the quotas are managed with Phot Station?

When I upload photos from my hard disk with Photo Station, the files have 'nobody' as owner.

How the quotas are working if the system doesn't even know who added the file?
If I limit one user to 100Mo, will he be able to add 200Mo of photos without problem?
If yes, how to proceed to have an actual limitation?
