411+II

Received the new NAS 411+II today from the local dealer.
Other than the processing speed everything else looks the same.
Will post the details after installation.
This is the first NAS unit I am going to use and primary use is
for streaming HD movies to my DUNE MAX mediaplayer.

What is the problem of that power adapter? Would you please let me know. As I will be getting the DS411+II soon.

The original 411+ suffers from an underpowered PSU.

What the poster is asking is if the 411+ II has had a PSU upgrade to nullify this problem.

I cannot imagine that any 411+ revision would not have had that issue looked at and solved though.

Basically for me it just would not boot, but Synology were great and replaced it with a beefier supply and now my unit works like a dream. Others have found issues later on with errors etc.
