WebDAV not locking files

It doesnt look like WebDAV lock(write protect) files when they are opened by a user. This is a big problem for me as I have several users working with the same files. Are there some settings I can change, or is this a known problem?

Have the same problem as well. I'm currently using Netdrive.

I'm open to moving to a different program if it would let me lock file.

According to the webDAV white paper, the protocol employs exclusive or shared locking.
