I'm a happy owner of a DS211j diskstation with 2 x 1TB internal disks in a Raid 1 configuration. At present I have about 10 Shared Folders plus 2 more on external USB disks (which I renamed “ARCHIVE-USB” and “BACKUP-USB”) which I use for archiving and daily backups respectively.
I've updated to DSM 3.1 and downloaded latest version of Time Backup package.
I'm experimenting with the Time Backup functionality and successfully tested two tasks, each backing up a separate Shared Folder to the USB external disk I've selected for incremental backups only (“BACKUP-USB”).
I like to create tasks that map to specific shared folders as opposed to all of them as it gives me more control on when and frequency of backup for each shared folder.
Now - if I try to create a 3rd task to backup another Shared Folder I receive the following message : "number of backup tasks exceeds system limitation".
Is there a limitation of max 2 tasks for Time Backup or is this a bug? Or ... am I doing something wrong?
Cheers!
