New Time Backup Application

Postby chum » Fri Jun 04, 2010 8:41 am

Can Synology or anyone elaborate on the to be released 'Time Backup Application' and 'Flashback' feature.

There is little information I could find on the Internet, and I am keen to know what new features Synology are working on.

Here's an interesting screenshot.
http://usingwindowshomeserver.com/2010/06/03/synology-showcases-vmware-ready-diskstation-and-unveils-time-backup-application-at-computex-2010/

It definitely sounds like this will be a good feature in a similar vein to 'Hotcopy' 'ShadowCopy' etc Which I have previously asked for as a feature request.

I just read this article:
http://www.synology.com/enu/news/2010/0 ... mputex.php

...and I am getting curious about this new backup feature as well. Why can't we find anything about it on the Synology website?

When will this application be available?
On which models will it be supported?
