Use Data Replicator to sync to 2 different NAS?

Postby peakjunkie » Sat Jun 16, 2012 12:09 am

Longtime owner and board reader, new flumoxed registrant.

I have 2 x 1511+ NAS running RAID 5. One here in office, one I'm now going to move off-site.

I'd like to achieve the following:

LOCAL: back-up sync daily at 2:00 p.m., keep 128 iterations (e.g. ~4 months of backup versions).
OFFSITE: back-up sync twice a week at 5:00 p.m., keep 129 iterations (e.g. ~1 year of backup versions)

Is this possible? How to achieve?

Thank you for any and all asssitance.

Hello, has anyone been able to answer this question? We too are have 2 Synology's, connected together over a Cisco Site to Site VPN (WAN) - however the Synology NASs are not able to see each other across the WAN. We are looking to replicate the data from 1 NAS to another across the WAN.
