I just want to back DATA, not everyone OS systems and files on each and every workstation. It seems to me that this system by default backs up everything off of each workstation. What I don't understand is where do you set what to back up? At the client workstation or at the Synology server. It must be easy but I can seem to see through the mud. I am used to using Backup Exec. Unfortunately there is no budget for this company to by this product so I am stuck with it.
Any suggestions where to find a comprehensive guide on backing up using this system.
