How to set default permissions of an uploaded file

Postby thunderbird » Mon Jan 30, 2012 2:18 pm

How is it possible to set the default permission of a file uploaded via WebDAV? If I upload a file, the permission is always set to -rw-rw-rw while I would rather like someting like -rw--r--r
For samba there's a settin called "create mask", is there something similar for WebDAV? I did a little bit of investigation and found the suggestion of setting the umask, which i tried by editing the S97apache-webdav.sh (adding umask 022 at the beginning of the script), but with no success... Any ideas?
