Router configuration hangs

Postby FrankFleer » Fri May 04, 2012 5:45 pm

If I click on router configuration the programs hangs on my brand new DS212+ with firware 4.0-2219.
It keeps saying LOADING... and you can see the text "Please setup your router first".
Is this a known problem and is there a fix?

Hi

In your router settings do you have enabled UPnP?, that's the way that your DS can work with your router.

Or you can setup your router directly.

Router configuration hangs

Postby MarkusW » Tue Aug 07, 2012 2:56 pm

Router Configuration used to work, but now I'm having a similar issue. But whenever I try to enter "Router Configuration" the window freezes on "Loading...". It may have happened when I upgraded to 4.0, or perhaps I've input something wrong into the router configuration.

Is there any way to reset this, or am I stuck in an endless loop where I need to enter the panel to fix it, but can't because it's broken? And by reset, I hope that doesn't mean erasing my data!

...and yes I have UPnp enabled (and it used to work!)

Thanks,
MarkusW
