Replace 6281 with 6282?

Replace 6281 with 6282?

I have a 212J (with the mv6281 processor). Is it possible to swap out that processor for the 2GHz 6282 found in the 212+?

Do you mean replace physically?
I'm not sure if the two SoC are pin-compatible, but anyway they are in FCBGA package: you don't want to try to solder/desolder those.
