DS 409+ Cpu information => Gcc Toolchain !

I've just bought a DS 409+.
Nice NAS, equipeed with 2x1T Western Digital Hard Drive
Good performance, I'm happy

So, I quickly jumped into the Synology community to search info about Syno tweaking, modding hacking !
I' read a lot of stuff about Bootstrap/ipkg, third application compilation etc...

But before starting, I've to fetch some technical information about DS 409+
and I noticed some inaccuracies !

On What CPUin my NAS page from Syno wiki, I read
DS409+ Freescale mpc8533 PPC Processor SATA, 64-bit Memory Bus, 512MB of RAM
but I get the following from CpuInfo :

Can synology or forum users inform me about the real cpu details ?
It seems to be important to know which toolchain I need to use

For info uname -a returns :

So: kernel 2.6.24 on mpc 8544 => no toolchain found ?
I'm lost...

The correct CPU model is still 8533. It seems we put the wrong value in cpuinfo.
I will forward this message to our RD engineer for correcting it.

Does this count for the DS 209+II as well. My cpuinfo on that model is:

So .. again. Is there a toolchain for the 209+II

I tried to install this: gcc343_glibc234_853x.tar.gz

But when I run gcc I get the following error:

The toolchain provided by synology is a cross toolchain, which runs on x86 PC, not on NAS itself.

Setup optware ipkg, then "ipkg install gcc" to get a native toolchain.
