Fellow Synology users!
As mentioned in the subject, I have a problem with a RS3411RPxs.
It is connected directly via 10gb optical to a Win 2008R2 server.
I access the NAS via iSCSI and I get a very disappointing throughput.
When I try copying a large 16GB file it starts of with about 60MB/s and slows down to about 15MB/s.
Watching the interface statistics it peaks at 5% throughput and then goes down to an average of 1%
I already changed the "Link Speed & Duplex"-Setting on the server's interface from "Auto" to "10Gbps Full Duplex" without success.
There is no switch or router or other device between NAS and Server.
Where is the bottle neck?
Thank you very much in advance,
Khalid
