Do you have issues with fetching mails from yahoo server after upgrade?

All,

I recently my updated my DS1010+ with the new DSM 4.0 and noticed this morning that roundcube is not fetching emails from my POP3 server anymore. I did everything posted previously and nothing does it. Before the update (DSM 3.1 or something like that) it was all working fine.

Next time, I'll be more careful before updating any software for my DS..

Uninstall mailstation, upgrade dsm 4.0 to the latest version, install latest mailstation once again

I've few accounts that sometimes don't fetch emails from external accounts
To get them working I log into roundcube and re-save the POP3 settings
It's pretty odd and annoying...

Yeah, I did exactly that, twice at least and nothing does it. Nothing extra needs to be done beside what was proposed ?
BTW, Re-saving POP3 settings does not fix it...

No, resaving the pop3 accounts doesnt help.

But reinstalling MailStation does! The problem is, that it seems that the most recent MailStation version needs DSM 4.0 (2198) to be installed. At least thats what I read on the Gemran forum.

So, do as gangsterwagen posted and you are back.

And dont forget to check the Synology firewall.

This exactly what I did. 3 times !

I have the latest DSM 4.0 SW (2198) and made sure of it.
I de installed and re installed the mail station software using the DSM 4.0 application installer.

And over and over I still have the same problem: I can't fetch any messages from my POP3 external account. Regardless if I log as a user or as admin.

Any other ideas ?

open a ticket at Synology support giving them a clear explanation of your problem
they have helped me a lot few months ago
