Thanks for this. I think i'm so close to getting it working...

It's now not receiving any mail, with a procmail.log being appended to each time an email is received containing the following:

Code: Select all
procmail: Skipped ""
procmail: Skipped ""
procmail: Lock failure on "/var/services/homes/Paul/.Maildir/.lock"
procmail: Error while writing to "/var/services/homes/Paul/.Maildir/" ......

I've figured it out. I was using a windows text editor to make the .forward and .procmailrc files. It messed them up because of the different line endings. doh!

Hm... Doesn't seem to be working for me.

Created and modified .forward, .procmailrc per the above guide but still gets all spam deliverd to my inbox.

Anything i might have overlooked? Or any other ideas how i can get this to work?

Thanks in advance for any help.

This doesn't work anymore with DSM 4.1 :(

But take a look at this thread...

its F%$^@ retarded that such features aren't build in in the first place. No one wants spam mail flagged as ****SPAM**** still coming in their mailbox.

The guys who wrote this program must have been drunk or stoned when they builded it.

Where has the world gone to?? its like no one is thinking and looking in the details anymore.

Just drop a program on the market so everyone has mail... SPAM??? well thats not our problem let them sort it out themselves....

Im getting tired of this kind of mentallity
