Postby satwizz » Sun Apr 01, 2012 1:26 pm

If i run #dmesg this comes up so the synology find the usb devices i have but what do i wright to see their real id on linux u can wright #Udevinfo or #udevadm

#dmesg
[ 802.990000] usb 1-1.1: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now attached to ttyUSB0
[ 803.050000] usb 1-1.2: FTDI USB Serial Device converter now attached to ttyUSB1

#lsusb doesent work and nither does #udevinfo.

DiskStation> udevadm info --name=/dev/usb/ttyUSB0 --attribute-walk | grep serial
-ash: udevadm: not found

To use lsusb, you will have to install usbutils with ipkg.

If you are in need for a RS232 tool for the terminal, have a look at minicom.
