First I would like to complement you on an excellent product! I recently purchased DS211J and could not be more pleased with it. It has solved some file sharing problems in a very simple well laid out system.

My question: Can I install DSM 3.1 (or any version) onto a virtual machine? I would much rather have that system running on in a virtual environment on my windows PC than on a separate piece of hardware attached to the network.

Is this possible? I have tried with VMware without any luck. If it is possible please let me know what software I need to make this happen.
