USB Station 2 and ds412+

Looking for some advise. Currently have a 3tb USB drive attached to my pc. I'm at the point of considering a nas unit that will connect directly to my router so that I can access the files without needing pc on.At the same time increasing my storage limits. Not sure I want to spend so much on the ds412+ at the moment but thought I might start out with the USB station 2 as it might handle what I need. Then later might upgrade to ds412+

Question is

Im wanting to access files on this 3 tb USB drive via twonky to stream to my Samsung tvs. Currently have been using twonky on my pc which streams movies through to my tv great

Can I install twonky on the USB station 2. If not does the inbuilt media server work well with Samsung tvs?

Also I currently use news leather to download and extract files from usenet servers via my pc. If I use the inbuilt nzb support on the USB station 2 will this download and extract files well. Directly to my USB 3tb drive?
