Downloaded files from newsgroup are all 0kb in directory

Postby matthewchng » Mon Jul 23, 2012 7:17 am

Using DS212j with DSM 4.0 and the respective Download Station package.

After Download Station completes the newsgroup NZB download and the files have been moved to user/downloads directory automatically, all the downloaded files are 0kb. It's the same with a few different NZB's. During the download, Download Station screen shows proper download speeds and progress but after it completes, all I get are 0 byte files.

All was working fine when using DSM 3.2 before the upgrade. HTTP downloads are also working fine now. Only NZB newsgroup downloads gives empty files.

Log file: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B7UrzGrKRwoed3V6U1VwUUk4bnc

Note that during the progress of the download, DSM interface actually shows that it is downloading properly with % moving accordingly as well.

This happens to me when the binaries aren't actually available anymore on the usenet server!

I thinks I solved the problem by DLing the BZ files prior to import in downloadstation of the NAS.

Did anyone find a resolution to this? I'm still experiencing this issue. The Feed is still available because I can download the NZB file directly from my computer after getting the 0 bytes from the download station. Firmware upgraded to latest.

same thing here.
some files are fine some are not.
All work fine on the PC.
have tried sending the files from my tablet/phone to synodroid (DS station never works on phone or tablet)
Have also tried sending file over ftp to the import folder.

Like i said some nzb's work and some dont.
Get more results when using the import folder but not getting 100% of the time.

Same problem, almost all downloads gets corrupted when using nzb (0kb).
Since latest update i am also getting an error saying that i cannot download single files over 4gb in size.

Since last update, download station is almost useless when using nzb.

I'm getting this error too, so tried both sabnzbd and nzbget, and still the problem persists... its really annoying, has anyone found a fix for this yet?

Thanks
