Is magnets working for anyone?

I am having real problems with magnets. I am sure they worked foor me before, but not anymore. Can somone conform that magnets are working for them, and point me to a magnet that works for them that I can try to make sure it is not just the ones I try.

Which torrent client are you using ?? Transmission works fine with magnet-links ...

Um, I'm using Synology Download Station. Is that what you meant, am I misunderstanding? That is why I am asking in this particular forum.

Oh sorry, Download Station probably uses another torrent client.
I installed Transmission with the Package Center (it's a Third Party package ...)
