Hi all,

SynoLoad v1.9 is now live on the AppStore, with:

Enhancements:
- Show a white scrollbar when background is black
- Add multiple links at once
- Save passwords for "add new download" per website
- Open NZB file from Safari, Mail, ...
- Show date in RSS

Bug fixes:
- Fix "next" textinput in "add new server"
- Split configuration file in several files to avoid settings corruption
- Stop activity indicator when "send file"
- RSS: remove popup when auto get feeds, only when adding new feed

Hello

Now i dont want to soon like a complete rookie here, but this is my first nas, and i have some questions about the app.

Now normally my pc which has a 1200w psu downloads the nzb to my internal hdd, and i have to unpack them manualy. I had set it to fix/unrar, but the noise the hdd make when i sleep is to disturbing.

Anyways, what im looking for is the following.

If im home, and by my computer, i guess its easy to just send the nzb file to the download station, i have a nsb server and all that, this is not a question specific to the app, just thought i wont make several threads. And it starts to download it. Do i have to copy the nzb to the synology then start it from there or? SOrry, now to the app.

I browse nzbsrus and find a movie i want to download, i have ipad/android phone. Now since im browsing inside the app, i can then tell my nas to download the file i want? But here comes the real deal breaker, is there any way with this app to auto rar, or if not that, from the tablet/phone say that after its done to unrar it?

Would be really sweet to wake up to 10 new movies being done, all unrared. But i dont know if it does it auto or if i have to tell the synoload to do it after the download is complete.

Sorry again for asking, my nas is on its way to me, and im trying to be as prepared as possible.

Hi,

As of now, the Synology NAS is not able to automatically unrar the files when they've been downloaded, so it's not available in SynoLoad.

For now, you will have to log into the FileStation (admin page, file station) when you receive the "Download finished" email (you can configure that on the Synology admin page), and ask to unrar/unzip the file you want

SynoLoad and SynoLoad HD have been updated to v1.9.1 on the AppStore.

The new update fixes several bugs and improves support for DSM 3.2

Pretty please It's an open market, there is currently no solution available and a pretty large user base if you include the phones and the touchpads.

As I have understood, you can download fileserve links by directly clicking on them.
Can you also select multiple links at once and tell synoload to download them all using a premium account?
If so, what's the difference between rapidshare support of synoload and other file hosts
DSM download station supports multiple hosts while the synoload description only mentions two.

If it supports more hosts, i will definitely buy your app.

By "nab", you mean "nzb" ?

Did you configure your News server in the settings ?
